TAROM cancels flights to Tel Aviv, Amman, Beirut, August 6-12, for security reasons

Published on

Following the latest developments in the Middle East and the deterioration of the security context in the region, Romania’s national airline TAROM is cancelling its flights to and from Tel Aviv, Amman and Beirut, August 6-12, 2024.

TAROM initially cancelled only flights on the Bucharest – Beirut route until August 6, following a travel alert issued by the Foreign Ministry warning about the security risks for travellers to Lebanon and recommending avoiding any travel there.

„The company is following the developments closely and information from authorities and will come back with updated information on flights. TAROM is recommending all passengers to follow the official communication for the latest updates and to contact the company to reschedule trips for a later date at no additional cost. Also, passengers have the option to request a refund of the value of their tickets,” TAROM said in a press statement released on Monday.
