The leaders of the United Right congratulated Nicușor Dan, in a joint press conference, for his new mandate as mayor general of the capital city. The alliance formed by USR, PMP and Forța Dreptei says it will continue to support all of Mayor Nicușor Dan’s projects that are beneficial and fair to the citizens of Bucharest.
„Thank you to the people of Bucharest, I am overwhelmed by the trust you have given me! Politicians don’t win elections, but communities do, and the citizens of Bucharest have shown that they are a community. Thank you USR, PMP, Forta Dreptei, Alianței Dreapta Unita, who have supported me and on whose support I will continue to count on in the next General Council”, says Nicușor Dan, Mayor General of Bucharest.
Cătălin Drulă, President of USR, congratulated Nicușor Dan for winning back Bucharest and pointed out that the development model he has imposed in the capital, after several disastrous terms of office of PSD mayors, is the model practiced by USR mayors in the cities they have administered over the last four years.
„After the 2020 victory we are consolidating this modern path for Bucharest and, from all the information we have, Bucharest was won by the United Right in the political vote. Nicușor Dan’s development model in Bucharest, like the one imposed by Dominic Fritz in Timisoara, means steadfastness in the fight against obscure interests, against the mafia, a model of development, team building and modernisation of cities”, says Cătălin Drulă, President of USR.
„Nicușor Dan has achieved what the people of Bucharest deserve: to save the capital from the pesedism. This process needs to be taken forward throughout the country and we, the United Right Alliance, will follow the example of Bucharest and try to convince Romanians that if Bucharest can do it, it can certainly do it everywhere”, says Eugen Tomac, president of PMP.
„Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is still in good hands, led by a mayor general who is not a prisoner of the clans, the real estate mafia and the obscure interests that come from those who like to rule political leaders and public institutions from the shadows. It is an example of how the people of Bucharest have clearly shown that they are not seduced by the lying propaganda, the poison and venom factories that have been spreading lies and slander against honest and fair people on a daily basis”, says Ludovic Orban, president of the Right Force.
