The turnover in the wholesale trade (with the exception of trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased both as a gross series – by 27.5pct, and as an adjusted series – by 27.3pct, in the first seven months of the year, compared to the similar interval in 2021, show the data published on Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), according to Agerpres.
Compared to July 2021, in July, the current year, wholesale business increased, as a gross series, by 22pct.
Also, as an adjusted series, the same indicator increased, in nominal terms, overall, by 24.4pct.
According to the quoted source, the turnover in the wholesale trade (with the exception of trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles), as a gross series, registered an increase of 7.6pct, in July 2022 vs. June 2022.
On the other hand, in the reference period, the wholesale trade of IT and telecommunications equipment decreased by 14.7pct.
At the same time, the business of the same type of trade, as a series adjusted according to the number of working days and seasonality, increased, in nominal terms, by 2.4pct, in the analyzed interval.
