The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s trading session in the red on all indices, with a turnover of 23.56 million lei (4.73 million euros), 45 minutes into the trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a depreciation of 0.42%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a decrease of 0.45%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, lost 0.50%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.53%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a depreciation of 1.69%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, went down 0.05%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.81%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share values were recorded by Romcab (+6.51%), Rompetrol Rafinare (+4.21%) and Altur (+3.81%).
On the other hand, shares of Carbochim (-14.98%), Vrancart (-5.83%) and Alumil Rom Industry (-4.58%) were declining.
