The National Liberal Party (PNL)’s political bureau voted unanimously to support independent candidate Nicusor Dan in the second round of the presidential election, the party’s interim leader Catalin Predoiu announced on Monday.

He argued that „extremism must be stopped from reaching the Cotroceni Palace”.

Predoiu also stated that the PNL ministers „who took an oath” will exercise their powers in the interest of Romania.
